Development of a Multifunctional Wheelchair for Individuals with Muscular Dystrophy

Development of a Multifunctional Wheelchair for Individuals with Muscular Dystrophy

This project focuses on designing and developing a specialized wheelchair prototype for individuals affected by Muscular Dystrophy (MD). The wheelchair integrates advanced features to meet the unique mobility and therapeutic needs of MD patients. With progressive muscle weakness and reduced mobility being key challenges of MD. This innovative solution addresses the unique mobility and therapeutic needs of those affected by this progressive condition, significantly enhancing their quality of life.

SARV- Semi - Autonomous Research Vessel

SARV- Semi - Autonomous Research Vessel

In response to challenges faced by traditional catamaran boats in river surveys, the introduction of Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) mitigates risks associated with shallow waters for both vessel and operator. Operated remotely, the USV enables researchers to obtain accurate bathymetric data without venturing into the water, ensuring safety and efficiency. Monitored through a Ground Control Station (GCS), the SARV, significantly amplifies bathymetric survey capabilities.
